Why do you believe this tree should be selected as the winner in this category?

This is a beautiful hackberry that provides shade to all the cars parked around it (despite the no parking sign that was nailed into it). It looks quite healthy even though all the roots are under asphalt. The proximity of the garbage bins also makes it an easy target to be hit by the garbage trucks, and also by the snow removal equipment. Therefore, it should be, in my opinion, one of the best survivors.
