Why do you believe this tree should be selected as the winner in this category?
This beautiful Magnolia tree is a favourite of mine because every time I see it in bloom it takes me back to my childhood. The Brescia Magnolia reminds me of the Clifton area of Bristol (our nearest "big city" in the area where I grew up, back in England) which has a lot of those trees. When I was younger, before I knew what a Magnolia was, I used to call them inside-out-flower trees as that is how the flowers appeared to me. The trees and their flowers always seemed exotic and beautiful and I still think so. Years later I haven't changed my mind! For these reasons I nominate the Magnolia tree outside Brescia University College's Ursuline Hall as a "Favourite Tree".

Looks great.
This magnolia is a gorgeous tree and one of my favourites too. The beautiful building behind it also adds to its appeal.
