Why do you believe this tree should be selected as the winner in this category?

We were told that the Magnolia is probably about 100 years old. We are not sure whether there is a larger one in London. When the Magnolia is in bloom, there is a constant stream of people stopping, parking and taking pictures. Also, when the Magnolia blooms, it is a sure sign that winter has ended and that spring has finally arrived.
