Why do you believe this tree should be selected as the winner in this category?

This tree was planted before my great-parents moved into this house, and that was long before we were living here. This tree has held our tire swing for the past 15 years, every fall we rake the leaves into giant piles for my young cousings to jump in and two of my aunts had their wedding pictures taken below this tree. Throughout the summer this tree shades our patio and all year round it is a beautiful thing to see out our living room window.
