Why do you believe this tree should be selected as the winner in this category?

RE-BIRTH

What inspired me to paint this painting for ReForest London, was that..RE-FOREST. "re-birth" is something that I created to inspire London and keep this city green.
-the tree on the right is a symbol that represents the dying tree. this tree I found in london on a path by a park on evergreen ave, its along the water.
-On the left is a page that is flipping over to symbolize a new chapter.
-the moon on the top left, to me represents protection. "the moon adjust the procreation of all that is alive", learning a little bit of astrology, the moon influences plants, the tides (water) and animals.
-the new baby tree growing in the centre of the painting of-course symbolizes "re-birth" the beginning of a new life.
-and the sun at the bottom represents energy to keep the plants growing.
I loved painting this painting, and I hope you enjoy it and inspires you to Re-Forest London, ontario.
