Why do you believe this tree should be selected as the winner in this category?

This tree is the home for the Turkey Vultures each year, they build their nest in the hole in front of the tree and watch over their young on the top branches of the tree. The golfers watch them as they grow and then fly away. The tree has so much character with it markings. On the inside of the hole in the tree you can see the shape of a native face in the markings of the tree. The outside of the trunk of the tree has very interesting and spooky looking markings. My friends Jeannie and Arnie took the pictures of the tree while we were golfing our scores where not good but the pictures turned out great.

What people are saying about this tree

This tree is a very old tree and in the lower apt. lives a family of groundhogs. To see the young turkey vultures sitting on the outside of the hole and mom and dad on the top is reminded of halloween.

Wow great tree!

What a fabulous tree. I don't find it spooky, I find it worth protecting from people who do not see the great beauty and mportance of trees like these!

Love it.

I love this tree. Thank you for sharing.

I saw a vampire in the tree.

Great looking tree different imaginary creatures on the outside of tree.

Now if pets often exhibit the characteristics of their owner or vice-versa, we shouldn't be surprised then that this is the home of a turkey vulture. Aren't they missing some feathers! or they're bald in spots!

Or how frightening is it to watch golfers all day!
