Why do you believe this tree should be selected as the winner in this category?
This is a genuine neighbourhood tree. It is so huge that it sprinkles its "love" on everyone, especially on windy days - leaves in the Fall, sticky, resinous buds in Spring, cotton in the Summer, and small sticks always. It is home to racoons and squirrels, and a food source for Downey Woodpecker, White Breasted Nuthatch, and Brown Creeper. A Redtail hawk perches here from time to time - occasionally with a mate.
