Volunteers planted the trees and shrubs and spread a mountain of mulch on this new planting area. They also transplanted some existing perrenials.

Thanks to the library staff that did the site preparation work. The project is part of the Greening the Commons project led by Old East Village Community Association, and funded by the Urban League of London.
