Thanks to the hard work of 50 Clarke Road Secondary students from Mr. Bushnell's class, over 400 trees and shrubs found a new home at Kiwanis Park. We returned to a project that we began in 2005 -- one of our first projects ever.

The planting circles we planted in 2005 are doing really well. One of the greatest things we saw was oak trees that we planted from acorns. We gave acorns to children to plant in 2005 and now the tree are over a metre high.

We really appreciate the help of students who bettered their environment and their community.
