Emma joined the ReForest London team during spring 2021 to complete her practicum for Western University’s Not-for-Profit Management Diploma program. She is happy to be working as the Social Enterprise Development Assistant with the Westminster Ponds Centre.
Emma has volunteered with ReForest London throughout her undergraduate degree and is looking forward to learning more about the environmental sector through the team.
What excites her most about working in the environmental movement is the opportunity to learn from others and to stay up to date on the newest research. Emma sees a composting program as one of the most important environmental issues for London to address. Furthermore, Emma would like to be a part of a more sustainable London by continuing to veer towards reducing her consumption through the use of circular economy groups, such as Facebook Marketplace and the Buy Nothing Project.
