Zoë is joining the ReForest London team as an Environmental Programs Administrator. With a background in Fine Art and Recreation, Zoë curates and creates content for social media and e-newsletters in addition to supporting communications for planting programs. Looking ahead, Zoë is excited to help develop display panels about each of the four Westminster Ponds Centre buildings to educate others on the historic nature of the Westminster Ponds site.

After volunteering at a Canada Life tree planting event with her family in September 2019, Zoë was inspired by ReForest London’s vision in creating a thriving community within an urban forest. She is confident that London can improve sustainability through many of ReForest London’s initiatives, from tree planting to increase London’s canopy cover, to public tree giveaways to increase community awareness of the benefits of trees. Zoë looks forward to having the opportunity to learn from her knowledgeable coworkers and meeting the many volunteers that help ReForest London thrive!

In Zoë’s spare time, she can be found making sculptures from recycled material, drawing, or painting. She is also fond of hiking the local trails with her dog and photographing local flora and fauna – mushrooms and turtles in particular.

Zoë’s favourite tree is the Sassafras Tree.
