Patricia de Wit (she/her) is a Board Director at ReForest London. She works at Western University within the Secretariat where she supports convocation and special events. In her free time, Patricia enjoys walking local trails, camping, canoeing, exploring local ice cream parlours, and attempting new craft mediums.
Patricia is inspired by ReForest London’s hands-on approach to nourishing the city’s urban forests and the organization’s commitment to making a tangible difference at a local level. She is most excited about working with trees because she believes there are few things that are as hopeful as planting a tree; trees are a long-term investment in the future of our climate and our community!
Patricia hopes to contribute to a more sustainable London by encouraging stronger connections between people and nature. She values working with community partners to find practical, community-based solutions that make sustainability an accessible topic and action for community members.
