In this workshop, you will learn about mycorrhizal fungi – an underground fungal network that works like a helper to a variety of plants. You will learn about what they are, what they do, how they do it, and how they can help you. This workshop is tailored to beginner gardeners up to experienced green thumbs and farmers.

In this workshop, you will learn all about invasive species: what they are, how they get here, how they affect us and our environment, and thus why you should care. This workshop will focus on identifying a few invasive species that you’ll be able to spot in your everyday life here in London, as well as some removal techniques.
- Tree ID for Newbies – Identify trees of London on June 27th from 10-11am
- Location: SE Corner of Victoria Park, 580 Clarence St, London, ON N6A 3N1
In this workshop, learn to identify a Maple from Oak, a Pine From a Spruce and some special trees in between. How leaf shape, bark and seeds can determine the tree you’re looking at.
