Volunteer Training

Thank you volunteers for all your time and effort supporting our green initiatives!

We have developed training to help new volunteers learn more about our organization, learn more about trees, planting and caring for trees, and to help prepare volunteers to be engaged in our organization.

Types of Training

ReForest London Orientation

Our ReForest London Orientation training will introduce volunteers to the organization and prepare them for roles such as Storyteller or Photographer. This orientation is also a pre-requisite for more specialized roles.

Specialized Training

Specialized Training is required in addition to the ReForest London Orientation training for roles such as Community Liaison, Tree Specialist, Office Assistant and Tree Teacher. These roles require specific knowledge about our organization, tree species or environmental education. You will receive training for these roles after you apply.

Volunteer Resources

There are a number of resources available for volunteers who want to learn more about their specialized role. Please see our Resources section for information on species lists, PowerPoint Presentations on what to expect in your new role, and more.

Current Opportunities

Our training sessions are free, but registration is required as spaces are limited for upcoming sessions. Please click the Sign Up button below to register and view the full training details.
