Alexa is a current member of the Board of Directors, and sits on the Nominations Committee. In the community, Alexa is a Lawyer practicing injury and disability law at Cohen Highley LPP, with a practice that focuses on sexual assault and abuse claims, which is rewarding work. In her spare time, Alexa enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, kayaking, cycling, and bird watching.
Alexa believes London would be a better place for everyone and all creatures if it could plant more trees, take care of trees more effectively, and protect existing trees (eg: stop the removal of trees on city or private property).
There is nothing that compares to planting a seedling and watching a young tree grow and prosper with proper care. In time that tree becomes habitat for creatures and, with protection, can be enjoyed for generations to come. – Alexa
