Matthew joined Reforest London in June of 2023 as a Board Director and Finance Committee Member. He studied undergraduate economics at the University of Waterloo and graduate economics at Western University, between which periods he worked for the Bank of Canada. Since that time, Matthew has worked for Meridian Credit Union where he currently works as a Senior Relationship Manager and helps businesses in the London area with their financing, investment and cash management needs. Reforest London was a natural place to get involved due to his desire to promote local environmental sustainability, conserve the natural environment and be a small part of improving it for future generations. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys kayaking the local water trails, camping and playing sports.
