As a member of ReForest London’s executive team, Shaquille leads the Programs Team, advances strategic organizational development, and oversees the continued development of London’s first-and-only Environment & Sustainability Centre, the Westminster Ponds Centre.

He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies with a pre-clinical specialization and minor in psychology. It is here where Shaquille gained an interest in holistic health and the role of nature. Shaquille completed his Masters in Capacity Development and Extension at the University of Guelph, focusing on access to formal education for First Nations students living on-reserve.

Shaquille believes that a major way to address environmental issues in London is by meeting people where they are. From experience, Shaquille has learned that sustainability and learning about the environment are marathons, not sprints, and change comes from the compounding bits of information that we gather and grow to make a larger difference.

Shaquille has always had a love for the outdoors, and in his spare time, you will find Shaquille camping, hiking or immersing himself in football.

His favourite trees are Chippewa White Pine and Chinese Dogwood
